Yes, I know this room is poorly accessorized (tell me that's not the saddest vase of flowers
ever), but it's a concise little modern loft. I like that swing lamp over the dining table. But while I do love bright colors, sometimes I wonder if they don't just come across as childlike (despite the sophisticated renovation job and furniture)?

I like aspects of this space -- the staircase, the lone chair under the stairs, but I really think the color-blocking chops it up too much.
The room doesn't do anything for me, but the lamp is magnificent!
This is a bit what my school hallway looks like - bold colors very pointedly standing out against white. It's actually a very attractive place to walk, even when we're stuck there well after sundown.
