Dang, you have been busting out the jamz. We just put an offer in on a house with giant ceilings. Would love to extend the fireplace up up and away.
Love the soaring height. Funny, in our keeping room we have a fireplace faced in stone. Exact same shape/style as this one. We wanted it sans mantle with the stone extending to the ceiling. Upon completion we came to check it out and the builder had added the wood mantle nonetheless. We had it removed and it looks much like the one pictured.
