Suzanis

Have I mentioned I'm going to Istanbul? Probably. And I'm contemplating the big girl step of buying something that won't fit in my (carry-on) suitcase. Woo-hoo, international shipping! So that means a carpet — or a suzani (or who knows, maybe both!). I know the latter was very trendy for a while. Anyone have any personal experience? How well do they "hold up"?
