Paris is a go!

Noticed more French homes around here lately? I am so excited to be visiting Paris this spring! This will be my first visit as a grown-up. If anyone has any decor-related suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

Clip is from the only Godard film I've ever liked. The characters are trying to break the world record for visiting the Louvre.

Hooray! I love Paris.

I think you would like L'Eclaireur:

Not strictly interiors, but the interior is amazing.

Ditto nkp!

I'll see if I can dig up any awesome homes.

Oh, and thanks for the music suggestions! I think you and I share similar taste.

Caravane, clearly (their shop on the rue St Nicholas is better and larger than the one in the Marais): http://caravane.fr/

Mamie gateaux brocante: http://www.mamie-gateaux.com/brocante.htm

For a perfect meal in a charming interior that's not cheap but not as expensive as Paris can often be, go to Josephine Chez Dumonet further down the rue du Cherche-Midi

I don't have any interior related recommendations, but a few others (mainly food!). Kiliwatch for vintage clothing on 64 r Tiquetone 75002, Hotel du Nord for dinner on 102 Quai Jemmapes and Chez Janou for lunch just off of Place des Vosges, 2 r Roger Verlomme 75003.

You are going to have such a fantastic time!

You'd love the store, Merci. I wrote about it last year here:

And of course there are the flea markets. Clignancourt is highly recommended.

If you need other more specific suggestions, please feel to email me. :)
