Blank canvas

One thing about having white walls is that there's nothing to compete with your art. Lots and lots of art, in this woman's case. A look that combines a sophisticated art wall with a spontaneous inspiration board. Probably "too much," and yet the neutral walls and furnishings make it work somehow.

Another space in the same home. More scaled down and sophisticated.

I agree, it works. Cluttered perhaps, but also spontaneous and fun. I like all the layering and so many places for the eye to settle. And the chair, well, it's pretty fabulous.

I'm enjoying white week. I keep considering painting my house white, then deciding it would be a disaster, then reconsidering...

So pretty, but would it work in a real space? One without all the architectural tidbits that make these spaces interesting?

Erin - don't do it, wait for your next house.

Ok, now that we got that out of the way: clustered art on white is my most favoritest wall treatment in the world. I love it. The end.
