I do have a thing for black wall paint used as an accent, so I took notice of the black walls and shelves here. (It's sort of the reverse of this look.)
Then I realized they were used to define the compact kitchen in this surprisingly compact loft. 
It's quite a beautiful space. The wall of windows help. And while the room is very narrow, it's also very long. Special shout out to the industrial bookcases with ladder.from Philippe Harden

Also, I think that may be my dining table! Love the length and unfinished quality. Now, where to find it for less than $400? Sigh.
I've always liked this apartment but hadn't seen the kitchen before so thanks for sharing this. The whole place just rocks.
