Door Sixteen did a great post on the work of interior designer Frédéric Méchiche. (I'd actually already posted one of his rooms here.) Black, white, wood, and not too "done." Good stuff.

Black, white and wood is my favorite! Now if I could just stop myself from adding color on top...
I like the pendant lamps over the table and the floor lamp next to the sofa. But overall, the room seems crowded with items — too busy. But I love the view out the window. Terrific houses opposite! I want to see their interiors.
