Wood paneling has gotten a bad rap over the years, but, like most things, it all depends on the execution. These wooden slats give this tiny space warmth and definition. I love the way they carry around to form the shelves in that little nook.Incidently, this stylish apartment is 280 square feet, which serves as something of a rebuke to anyone (like myself) who has complained about the size of her home.

I love the use of those slats...I think I could do this all over my house, ceiling and all. And you are so right about the perfection of the slats lining up with the shelves, inspired! Add in the painted brick and I am absolutely salivating. I am bookmarking this one for sure, great find Cassie!
