Yesterday's post of old floorboards made me think of the home of
Kat Heyes, where the floor is truly the star! (The pale, muted colors add something as well).

A lot of the furniture has thin black steel legs, which also shows off the floor. It looks so good that I'm including this photo, despite the fur throw.

I love old wooden floors...one day...one day I will get them!
That's how I feel. ;)
Super duper gorgeous, and stunningly uncluttered. Sigh. One day I will have a house like that!
The floors are absolutely beautiful and I, too, covet them. The muted color scheme is lovely yet leaves me a little uncomfortable — What if I drop my red gloves on the bed or want to hang a picture in primary colors? I'm not sure I could actually function in a minimalist environment.
Carol, I'm with you!
