I love the new "Who Lives There" feature in the Times. A couple weeks ago, they wrote about this cottage in the West Village, that I frequently make special detours to gawk at. It always seemed like a strange holdout relic, a little clapboard house with a yard that watched the city grow up around it. But it turns out the house was moved from Upper Manhattan in 1967.
