Get the Le Cool Lisbon guide, go to as many of the miradouros as possible, walk a lot and wander, go to Royale Cafe for yummy food and to relax, and to Noobai Cafe to watch the sun set. Walk around the Principe Real neighborhood because it is beautiful, has lots of pastry spots and lots of design shops. Get lost trying to get to the castle, then enjoy the views when you make it. Eat lots of pastel de nata and bacalhau Go to the tile museum, and the design museum. And if you leave Lisbon, Sagres in the south is stunning, and the beauty of the Douro Valley can't be put into words. Lisbon, and Portugal overall, is simply a gem, have a great time!

ReplyDeletetile museum - i'm sorry i missed it.
ReplyDeleteI cursed myself for not going to the Gulbenkian, but I did not regret a malasada every morning. I swear they put 4 lbs of pastry cream in each one.
